We are about ‘making the difference that really makes the difference’.

We are developing a powerful partnership between the two communities - NLP and Education (in its widest sense) - so that each of them can and will have a positive influence and beneficial impact on the other.

How can The NLP Education Network Community achieve this? It involves a two-way process :

NLP provides a basis for analysing, interpreting and then understanding ‘HOW’ –

• HOW we learn, teach, communicate, lead, manage, influence
• HOW we write, spell, add up, understand time and space

Alongside this, NLP provides a growing knowledge and a wide range of tools and techniques for (re)discovering these ‘hows’, bringing our unique habits of excellence (our unconscious competence) into the conscious realm – and thereby providing:

• More flexibility and choices for change
• The prospect of transferring excellence

Our Network is taking a leading role in putting NLP into the Education domain, making it accessible to teachers and learners, their families and friends, heads and managers, officers and advisers, teacher-trainers and researchers, local and national politicians – and all those that have an influence and impact on Education.

We are supporting individuals and groups who are using and applying NLP in Education, in developing their classroom practice, their managing and leading, their advising and consulting.

The roots of NLP lie in the world of therapy, and are still very much influenced by this. We are therefore :

• drawing knowledge, ideas and applications from the world of Education and using them to enhance NLP
• developing applications of NLP that are appropriate to Learning and Teaching, Managing and Leading in Education
• designing accredited NLP trainings – Diploma, Practitioner and Master Practitioner - that are specifically appropriate for learners and teachers and the many people that support them.
• encouraging and supporting NLPers to reveal and develop more learning strategies – such as the ‘NLP Spelling Strategy’ – and to make them openly available to both the NLP and Education communities. Probably the best people to do this are teachers and students – who have the requisite NLP skills of course.

Our dream is to develop a mutual partnership between the two parallel approaches described above; it is about creating opportunities for the NLP and Education Communities to have an influence and impact on each other!
