New Oceans's partnership with Train to Gain
As part of its drive to help small and medium sized businesses (5 to 249 people) through these currently difficult economic times, the Government is providing real financial assistance to help achieve vital skills improvements for senior staff.
Train to Gain is the Government’s flagship service to support employers in England to improve the skills of their employees.
New Oceans is an official provider of training through the Leadership and Management scheme.

The Leadership and Management Offer
|
Funding is available for directors and senior managers in all organisations (Profit, Charity, voluntary, not for profit organisations) with 5 to 249 staff (paid or unpaid) to support leadership and management training and development.
The first £500 of training is absolutely free; the second £500 is provided on a matched basis, which simply means that for every pound above £500 Train to Gain will cover half of it.
The training simply needs to be of benefit to your organisation.
So it can be for any senior manager/director who needs:
- NLP for Business Executives – eg Effective Business Communication, Strategic Thinking and Influencing, Effective Decisions for Leaders, Modelling Your Best Performance, Creating and Sustaining Successful Business Partnerships
- Leadership Skills – eg Influencing & Persuading, Winning Presenting, Motivating, Inspiring, Leading self skills, Empowering Your Team
- Management skills – eg Supervisory Skills, Decision Making, Team Building, Stress Management
- Business/Job skills – eg Time Management, Assertiveness, Presentation Skills, Negotiation Skills
- Coaching/Mentoring skills – eg Business coaching, Executive coaching, Rapid Coaching Skills for Managers, The Ten Minute Coach .. skills...
- Selling skills – eg Influencing, Winning Presentations, Negotiating, Account management skills, Coaching skills
And we can deliver the training in groups or on a one-to-one basis.
