TIPS FOR WRITING STORIES FOR CHANGE

Tips #1

The best Coaches have to have experiences of life themselves to really be able to help others; in the same way,the best writers use creative imagination to impart wisdom learned from their life experiences. Put the two together and you can create stories for change and growth.

Start “collecting” incidents, occurrences, that happen to you, or that you hear about, and then practice the art of trusting your creative Inner Team to come up with the relevant ones to use for your Coaching clients... then write the stories of what happens when you do this!

As with most creative writing, the first thing is to decide who your readers are... I believe in writing as if I’m actually talking to someone.

The second is to know what it is you want to say.

Then choose how you want to say it - is it a straightforward relating of something that happened, or a metaphor, for instance?

But he simply asked me what I wanted from music, and what it would be like when I got it. Sharing that with Mr Breeze crystallised it in my own head, and also made me feel comfortable…..in rapport with myself as well as with him.
